New Year’s Praise and Prayer Service

Ministry Opportunity
MBC sponsors Anchor Home–a group that ministers to widows here in the area. They have–somewhat sadly–exploded in growth over the last few months and are now having about 30 widows attend each of their monthly meetings. We at MBC would like to help provide food for their meeting on Jan 4th. If you are willing to make a pot of soup, a tray of finger sandwiches, or bite-sized desserts for this meeting, please click here, and I will contact you.

NTFB Mobile Pantry
Our next Mobile Food Pantry will be in the front parking lot on Thursday, January 6th from 9-11:30am. Please come by and get fresh produce, dairy items, and other staples free of charge with no income or residency restrictions. Phew! That was a lot, and I know you have many family commitments and work events, as well. However (and I’m reminding myself here, too), don’t let the season of Christmas drown out the message of Easter–our Savior came as a baby, but He grew up to be the one man who offers  justification and life for all people (Romans 5:18)! May you be aware of His presence this week!
